The restaurant Les Caves de la Genevraie is located in troglodyte caves on the plain of Rochemenier, 5 km from Doué la Fontaine.

We have a specialty of Fouaces (small breads cooked in a wood fire) with a unique aperitif menu, wine and coffee included.

We also have a children's menu at €10, always including drinks.

During a delicious meal of fouaces (local specialty), you will crisscross the places where every corner hides decades of history: you are the guests of the Justeau family at the Caves de la Genevraie and at l'Ammonite, troglodyte sites which served as a refuge gallery during the wars of religion.

The partner restaurants Caves de la Genevraie and l’Ammonite are open all year round from Friday evening to Sunday lunchtime inclusive.

During the week, we open from 15 covers by reservation. 

 And we are open every day in July and August except Monday.
